Fort Bend County has launched a new federally funded task force aimed at combating human trafficking by bringing law enforcement and victim service providers together.
The Fort Bend County Anti-Trafficking Collective (ATC) is funded through the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime. The initiative is designed to bring agencies and service providers to the same table to coordinate efforts to combat human trafficking and support victims.
Officials will discuss the task force during a kickoff press conference at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Fort Bend County Justice Center in Richmond.
